Perfection is an alluring illusion, a mirage that promises fulfillment but often delivers suffocation. It whispers that nothing is ever enough—that every detail must be flawless, every action impeccable. In its grip, creativity withers, paralyzed by the fear of falling short. Ambition turns into obsession, and joy is overshadowed by relentless self-criticism.
Perfection strangles spontaneity, leaving behind only rigid expectations and disappointment. In its pursuit, we chase an impossible standard instead of embracing our flaws and learning to thrive despite them. This collection of pieces symbolizes my experience with perfection.

DECONSTRUCTION RECONSTRUCTION
Deconstructed and reconstructed from a second-hand blue suit set, this piece is wholly reimagined.
Made during my time in the Rhode Island School of Design Precollege Program as a fashion major, I was given one hour to drape and hand-sew this garment. The assignment culminated in a photoshoot where we were challenged to take editorial photos of our garment.
